Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda - All Inclusive

Stayed 5-12 May 2022 with family; booked though booking.com Stayed at Bahia Principe earlier in Mexico and had a great experience; therefore decided to stay at one of the Bahia in Punta Cana. Excellent experience at the Esmeralda. You have access to some of the other Bahia Principe hotels facilities located adjacent to Esmeralda. Food and staff were amazing. Make sure you book the à la carte as soon as you check in (can be done in the front lobby either on the self-service computer or the desk). We stayed 7 nights and were only able to get into 4 à la carte. Pools and the beach are really clean and do get busy during the day; but we always managed to find a spot. We stayed in a Junior Suite Deluxe; very clean and spacious overlooking the pool. Would recommend Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda to others. We booked an excursion - at one of the poolside booth – a day trip – that included Sea Aquarium, Swimming with Sting Ray, Snorkeling (more of a swimming with a mask on and not much to see lol ) , Underwater walk and a stopover at one of the natural pool site.

The Staff was incredible. Joselito and the entertainment team went above and beyond to make it fun and interesting. Great for families. Didn't see people going overboard drinking and the activities were reaching every age. Several kids friendly options in the complex by the way. Great service all around. The buffet and the pool bar were awesome. Cold beer, variety of drinks. Wilkins, Rodolfo, Daniel, Luis and Teresa are friendly, provide a quick service and are always smiling. A great surprise: the buffet food is a better than expected for a resort. They kept it clean, organized and well staffed.

Staff was very friendly! Food was delicious. Pools were so clean. The entire property is gorgeous. Very well organized buffet. Very good service. We really enjoyed our time there.

I was really pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our weeks stay here. It was clean, the pools were well taken care of. The restaurants and buffets were high quality foods. The attention and service was top notch. The shows were entertaining. There was something for everyone, traveling with my family that was important to me. The landscaping and overall cleanliness was immaculate.

we loved being able to access all the different pools and breakfast and lunch buffets with the all inclusive access that staying at Esmeralda offered. we definitely found that the buffets in the all inclusive hotels were better quality than their Grand counterparts. The a la carte restaurants were excellent. We highly recommend the Italian and Dominican options. The highlight of our trip was definitely the entertainment by the pool. The staff went above and beyond to get everybody involved and you could truly feel their joy and how much they loved their job. There is a lot of talented people performing in the evenings as well. We felt like most staff we ran into had nothing but a big smile and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. We made use of some of the additional services provided on the beach to go scuba diving and the extra cost was absolutely worth it. We had a great experience on our first ever dive! This was our first stay, and our first all inclusive experience, and we will definitely be back. We miss the beach and pool every day!! Thanks for a great vacation Bahia Principe!!
